The benefit you will get by choosing our services is quality tuition with results delivered in the least possible time allowing you to apply for your SIA badge in a timely manner.
Each of our SIA courses can help you in your new career in security, the question we always get asked is "are multiple licences better than one?" and the answer to that question is absolutely yes and then followed by another question " well what are the best licences to have?" and the answer to that question depends on where you see your security career in the near future. For example some clients, having a DS/ CCTV licence is more advantageous for the kind of security they require whereas for some clients, a requirement for one or the other or CCTV/CP may be required. But having a combination licence can better the chances of employment at a higher hourly rate and other opportunities.
Multiple organisations play a role in the creation and delivery of SIA endorsed qualifications.
The SIA ( Security Industry Authority)
The SIA sets the competency standards and specifies qualifications for licensing. Part of the SIA responsibility for front line applicants is to define the skills and knowledge appropriate for an individual to start work. The SIA owns these core specifications and retains responsibility for their future development.
The Qualification Regulation Authorities
The Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) and the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (OFQUAL) operate in England, the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) operates in Scotland and the Department for Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills (DELLS) operates in Wales. These bodies:
Only government approved awarding organisations or chartered higher education institutions are able to apply to be endorsed to offer licence linked qualifications.
